The authorities of this country did not allow the entry of the Turkish group, because they did not trust the PCR tests they presented.

For this reason, the members of the Turkish team were asked to practice them again, an option which was refused.

Furthermore, the institution added that the attitude of the authorities was “inappropriate or even arrogant” in not accepting the COVID-19 tests they presented: “We were treated extremely inappropriately and even arrogantly, the difficulties encountered have continued to increase. We do not accept this attitude, practice and behavior of Greek customs and security forces.”
After two hours of waiting, and without finding a solution, the club made the decision to return to Istanbulcapital of Turkey, and cancel their scheduled engagement: “Friendly matches are between friends. This behavior is not friendly at all. Therefore, we decided to come back,” the Galatasaray coach said.
