Easter 2022: how much is the trip from CDMX to the port of Acapulco

Caleta, Caletilla, Puerto Marques or even the broken are some of the most popular sites to enjoy during this Holy Week, as well as at any time of the year in the well-known and much visited port of Acapulco. But how much does it cost you to travel to this destination from Mexico City?

In this sense, we will announce here the approximate cost of the road trip from CDMX to the popularly known hot land area, located in the state of Guerrero.

This warm destination has a wide variety of beaches appreciated by Mexicans and international tourism in general, where they can do activities such as: a boat trip along the coast, a tour of the sea on a jet ski, swimming, eating on the shore of the beach, among others.

Even Acapulco also offers the best sunsets, which can be enjoyed from a little paradise known as Pie de la Cuesta, a site located in the Pacific Ocean and Laguna de Coyuca.

It is a charming beach located 10 kilometers northwest of Acapulco. However, you cannot swim in this space, as it has extremely high waves. Sometimes it becomes a normal route for whales and dolphins, making this beach a unique place to watch sunsets. Visitors are offered a wide variety of dishes in numerous restaurants.

The golden zone This port offers an abundant hotel infrastructure, exotic discos, restaurants with a magnificent view of the bay, art galleries, jewelry stores, boutiques, shopping centers and traditional craft markets.

How to get there and the costs?

Motorists must take the call sun highway, where during a visit of about 5 hours you will arrive at this cozy place. According to Platform of the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT) which reveals the prices, at least 6 stands will have to be paid.

The CDMX stands are:

-Tlalpan (122 pesos)

-Alpuyeca (77 pesos)

-Col Morelos (164 pesos)

-White stick (151 pesos)

-The Sale (133 pesos)

-Maxitunel (101 pesos)

In this way, total payment when going through the cabins is 748 pesos one way. You also have to take into account the gasoline disbursement, although it depends on each car, but at least a thousand pesos could be allocated for it.

This destination is full of places to visit. Even the newer area is called Acapulco Diamond and extends from the bay of From Puerto Marqués to Revolcadero BeachAlso within this space are several luxury hotels, a series of residential developments, modern shopping malls, 4 spectacular golf courses, a world-class spa, a modern convention center and a spectacular auditorium.

One of the shows most coveted by walkers is the one offered in the broken, where daredevil divers leap into the sea from cliffs at heights of up to 35 meters. A show that dates back to 1934. The times to enjoy the jumps are mainly at night, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Acapulco also has natural paradises such as: the Coyuca Lagoon, Tres Palos Lagoonas well as enjoying the release of sea turtles on the beaches of Pie de la Cuesta and El Revolcadero.

If the bay of Puerto Marqués is also another of its attractions, surrounded by exuberant vegetation and tropical birds, it is ideal for water sports. In this area you will find a great gastronomic offer in a traditional atmosphere. Among the main beaches of this bay are Puerto Marqués, Majahua and Pichilingue.

In general, the climate in Acapulco is tropical and humid, the rainy season extends from June to October. The average annual temperatures vary between 33º C the maximum and 22º C the minimum.
